Steven J. Richardson graduated from Rutgers School of Law, Camden, New Jersey in 1985, after having graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. In addition to New Jersey, Mr. Richardson is also licensed in the Federal District Courts of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

He is a Past President of the Gloucester County Bar Association, and is also a member of the American Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.  Outside of the law, he is active in the Knights of Columbus and other community activities. His practice is concentrated in bankruptcy, business law, commercial litigation, collection, landlord’s rights, municipal court (DWI and other traffic tickets) and residential real estate transactions.

Mr. Richardson has also been a guest speaker at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey as a part of a continuing professional education program for CPAs, on the topic of “The Accountant’s Role in Bankruptcy Proceedings,” has written articles on bankruptcy law for the Gloucester County Times, has served as a panelist for bankruptcy seminars for local attorneys, and has been a panelist on Comcast’s People’s Law Forum on bankruptcy law.
